GR summit educates on impact of pot legalization

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce held a marijuana summit Thursday as Michigan gets closer to voting on its legalization.

The summit focused on the impact the legalization of marijuana could have on the city and state. Chris Woods, a pot shop owner from Boulder, Colorado attended the summit to talk about how it changed things in Colorado and what it could mean for Michigan.

Woods spoke about his work advocating for the pot industry over the last 10 years and how the business is booming in Colorado.
