Driver hits 13, 5-year-old boarding Morley Stanwood bus

WINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — Police say two students were injured after they were hit by a vehicle that failed to stop at bus stop Monday morning in Mecosta County.

Michigan State Police said it happened around 7 a.m. Monday on North Bailey Road near Yankee Road in Winfield Township, southeast of Morley.

Police said a Morley Stanwood school bus was pulled over on the side of the road facing north with its red lights activated when a 19-year-old woman driving south failed to stop.
