Muskegon school worker off the job after allegations

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WOOD) — A contracted worker has been removed from Muskegon Public Schools and police are investigating after allegations surfaced of inappropriate contact with a student, the district said.

A Wednesday evening release from the district did not specify what job the worker from contractor EDUStaff was filling, nor does it say what school was involved. The nature of the contact is also unknown.

The district said it was made aware of the allegations Wednesday, at which point it immediately called Children's Protective Services and EDUStaff, and ordered the worker not to have any contact with students or staff members.
