Grand Rapids shooting sends man to hospital; no arrests


GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids police are searching for suspects in a southeast side shooting that sent one man to the hospital.

It happened around 8 p.m. Friday near the corner of Eastern Avenue and Temple Street SE.

Witnesses say multiple shots were fired and the victim was shot in the head.

The Grand Rapids Police Department says the person who was wounded is alive but suffered life-threatening injuries and is in critical condition.
