Jury reconvening in Wyoming baby murder trial

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Jury deliberations are expected to continue Monday morning in the case of a Wyoming mother accused of neglecting her 6-month-old son, leading to his death.

Lovily Johnson, 23, is charged with murder and first-degree child abuse in the July 2017 death of her son Noah.

Prosecutors say Johnson left her son alone, strapped into a car seat, in a stifling Wyoming apartment for three days while she went out, shopped and smoked.
