Son-in-law arrested in double murder near Caledonia

BOWNE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WOOD) — The suspect who authorities say killed a married couple in their Kent County home has been arrested.

Undersheriff Michelle LaJoye-Young said 33-year-old Nathan Board was arrested Wednesday night for the murders of Patty Syrek and Theodore Syrek. He is the soon-to-be ex-husband of the couple’s daughter.

Board is being held at the Kent County Correctional Facility without bond.
