GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A man who was involved a serious car crash north of Grand Rapids last week died over the weekend.

Paul Krupp, the owner of Krupp Farms, died Saturday, according to his online obituary. He was 63.

The crash happened the morning of morning Aug. 28 on Plainfield Avenue at 5 Mile Road in Plainfield Township. Authorities say a dump truck crossed the centerline and crashed into Krupp's pickup truck. The dump truck driver said his brakes locked up when he tried to slow for an emergency vehicle. He said that caused his dump truck to slide across the wet road.
