WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Twelve apartments were damaged and their owners displaced after a Sunday morning fire at the Timber Ridge Apartments in Wyoming, but no one was hurt.
The fire broke out at 12:48 a.m. Sunday. The complex is located at 4345 Timber Ridge Trail SW near 44th Street, dispatchers say.
Authorities say the fire started on a second story balcony and spread to the rest of the building, and two people were trapped inside, including one person that had a physical disability.
Fire crews on scene say they got the fire knocked down quickly, and went into rescue mode.
