Nassar transferred out of Tucson prison

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Larry Nassar, the former doctor who sexually assaulted his patients, is being moved to a different federal prison.

Nassar's attorney claimed Nassar was assaulted at a prison in Tucson, Arizona, in May, only hours after being released into the general population.

Nassar was sent to the high-security prison in Tucson in February. On Sunday, federal prison records placed him at the Federal Transfer Center in Oklahoma City.
