GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Strong to severe storms rolled through Michigan Monday, but the state is still drastically below average when it comes to severe weather this year.
On Monday, most reports were low-end wind damage compared to what Michigan can see from a severe storm.
So far this year, severe weather has graciously stayed away from West Michigan. Not only have there been much fewer storm reports than usual for Michigan, there have been fewer reports for surrounding states.
