Under new rules, Bronson Park concert is BYOB

KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WOOD) — For the first time Friday night, alcohol will be allowed at an event in Kalamazoo's Bronson Park.

The city is hosting a concert at the park for the July Art Hop, and an ordinance passed earlier this year means it can be BYOB.

If you bring drinks to the event, you'll have to have your identification and booze checked by event officials and you'll have to wear a wristband. Alcohol will be allowed from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
