Police working to ID body found at Grand Haven State Park

GRAND  HAVEN, Mich. (WOOD) — Police are working to identify a man after  discovering his body in Lake Michigan at Grand Haven State Park.

He was found around 12:29 p.m. Thursday by people about 30 feet from shore in the swim area north of the pavilion.

Police  are working to identify the victim, who is described as a black male  between 20-35 years old, standing 5-foot-8 to 6 feet tall and was  wearing a black swimsuit at the time he was found.

An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death.
