Police rescue dehydrated kitten stuck inside car

IONIA, Mich. (WOOD) — Two police officers came to the rescue of a kitten stuck in the fender of a vehicle Wednesday.

The Ionia Department of Public Safety posted on Facebook that authorities were called on the Fourth of July to a report of a kitten trapped in a wheel well.

Officers Flanders and Dankenbring were able to free the dehydrated kitten by partially removing the fender. In a video posted on Facebook, an officer is seen petting the freed feline while it drinks some much needed water.
