'Fearless' Zeeland baseball player recovering from head injury

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A West Michigan teenager is in the hospital recovering from a serious head injury he received from a weekend baseball game in Ann Arbor.

On Facebook, Camden Keatley's father posted that his son is making progress in the intensive care unit.

Keatley, a Zeeland West High School junior, was pitching for the Michigan Bulls, a traveling team, on Sunday when a batted ball hit his head.

Adam Locker, Keatley's high school coach, had a hard time watching the clip of the injury.

"He loves every aspect of competing in baseball," Locker said.
