GRPD: Motorcyclist killed, passenger hurt in crash

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — One person was killed when a motorcycle hit another vehicle on Grand Rapids' northeast side Monday afternoon.

It happened around 2:45 p.m. at intersection of Knapp Street and Fuller Avenue. The Grand Rapids Police Department says the motorcycle rear-ended a westbound vehicle that was turning south onto Fuller.

The driver of the motorcycle, a man whose name has not yet been released, was killed.

The motorcyclist's passenger was hospitalized. The nature and severity of her injuries is not yet known.

The people in the other vehicle weren't hurt.
