FBI adds SW MI fugitive to 10 Most Wanted list

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. (WOOD) — The FBI is adding a Berrien County fugitive to the bureau’s “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list.

Antwan "Tank" Mims, 40, is the main suspect in the deadly Benton Harbor shootings of 22-year-old Cortez Miller and 29-year-old Michael Johnson.

He is described by authorities to be around 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11 and 210 to 265 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He has tattoos on both hands and forearms as well as his upper right arm. 

Mims, who is a known member of the Gangster Disciples street gang, should be considered armed and extremely dangerous. He has family and ties in Michigan, Indiana, Georgia, Tennessee, Illinois and Ohio.  

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call the FBI tip line at 1.800.225.5324 or submit information online
