GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital has been included in the 2018 Best Children’s Hospital rankings for the seventh time by the U.S. News & World Report.
The hospital was ranked in six different categories including:
- Pediatrics: Cancer
- Pediatrics: Cardiology & Heart Surgery
- Pediatrics: Nephrology
- Pediatrics: Orthopedics
- Pediatrics: Pulmonology
- Pediatrics: Urology
The US News Best Children’s Hospital ranks the top 50 pediatric facilities across the U.S.
The rankings are decided by observing mortality and infection rates, efficiency and coordination with care delivery, and compliance with best practices based on clinical data and opinion from pediatric specialists.
