FERRYSBURG, Mich. (WOOD) -- A woman was hospitalized after being hit by a vehicle while riding her bike Saturday.
It happened around 10:55 a.m. near the intersection of Oak and Third Street in Ferrysburg.
Ottawa County sheriff's deputies say a 65-year-old man driving a truck drove through the intersection when he struck 35-year-old Sand Lake woman, Jillian Kennedy who was participating in Michigan State University's Gran Fondo event.
