Suspect's roommate says police nearly shot him


WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — The hole in a kitchen wall at Timber Ridge Apartments in Wyoming, put there last week, includes a message from the person who punched through the drywall.

"This is how I cope," was written in marker.

It wasn't the first sign of trouble that 27-year-old Corey Robinson's roommates noticed.

“He constantly talked about seeing demons and how he was one of God's angels," his roommate Jordan, who asked to be identified only by his first name, told 24 Hour News 8 Tuesday.

Jordan said that in the early hours of June 13, he got a call from a mutual friend telling him to find a hiding place because Robinson was headed to the apartment. The friend had just had a conversation with Robinson and turned down a request:
