FDA shares list of stores that possibly sold tainted melon

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A recall for fruit salad and pre-cut melon linked to a Salmonella outbreak is growing.

The Food and Drug Administration says the potentially tainted fruit was sold by at least ten grocery retail chains, including some well-known names in Michigan: Family Fare, D&W, Costco, Trader Joe’s, Walgreens, Walmart, Kroger, and Whole Foods/Amazon.

Dozens of West Michigan stores are included in the list of places that potentially sold the recalled
