UPDATE: ''Shelter in place' order lifted for Wyoming neighborhood

WYOMING, Mich. (WOOD) — Authorities are investigating after reports of shots fired in Wyoming early Wednesday morning.

Kent County dispatchers told 24 Hour News 8 that residents were advised to “shelter in place” as authorities investigated in the area of Timber Ridge Trail SW, near the intersection of 44th Street and Byron Center Avenue.

Around 4 a.m. Wednesday, dispatchers said residents no longer needed to “shelter in place.”
