Arrests made after officer-involved shooting in Wyoming

WYOMING, Mich.  — The Kent County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a domestic situation led to an officer-involved shooting in Wyoming early Wednesday morning.

The Wyoming Department of Public Safety told 24 Hour News 8 that officers were called around 1 a.m. for a domestic situation in the area of Timber Ridge Trail SW, near the intersection of 44th Street and Byron Center Avenue.

When officers arrived on scene, people were found arguing in the street. Shots were fired, including from a police officer, according to WDPS. It’s unclear which agency was involved in the shooting.

Authorities say all people involved are in custody and no one was injured in the shooting, according to WDPS. It's unclear how many were taken into custody.
