GRPD: Gun implied by bandit during bank robbery in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The FBI and the Grand Rapids Police are investigating a bank robbery on Leonard Street northeast.

It happened around 9:40 a.m. at the Lake Michigan Credit Union near Plymouth Avenue. Detectives say the suspect implied he had a gun during the holdup and took off with some loot before officers arrived on the scene.

Per a GRPD news release:

There were no injuries reported.
