Kent County Sheriff's Office is hiring

KENT COUNTY, Mich. -- The Kent County Sheriff's Office is hiring.

The office is looking for up to 12 new officers between their January and May hiring classes. Sgt. Scott Dietrich says this is an exciting time to work for them as they are in a transitional period with a number of retirements coming up and new positions being added.

KCSO says they will take in- or out-of-state lateral transfers or new police academy graduates. Starting pay is above $30 per hour.
