PLAINFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- State environment officials have declared a site near West River Drive and West River Center Drive in the Comstock Park area of Plainfield Township to be contaminated with PFAS.
The Department of Environment Great Lakes & Energy says it as at a former car wash location about 70 yards from the Grand River. The state confirmed that after taking samples from some monitoring wells. It says there are three commercial properties near the site that may still have drinking water wells.
