Walker Police, KANET to discuss narcotics trends at community meeting

WALKER, Mich. -- The Walker Police Department and the Kent Area Narcotics Enforcement Team will host a community discussion with residents Thursday evening.

It's titled Narcotics Awareness Update .

The community meeting will take place in the upper floor of Fire Station #2, located at 4101 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, beginning at 6:30 pm.

Law enforcement will discuss narcotic trends in our area, teach citizens how to identify drugs or drug paraphernalia, inform residents on when and how to report drug activity and share some recent enforcement actions.
