GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Michigan State Police say US-131 was shut down for about 40 minutes early Tuesday morning after a car was shot at near Burton Street.
That is near the construction zone.
Troopers say both vehicles were heading southbound when it happened around 3 o'clock. One person was hit by a bullet, but State Police say the injuries were not life-threatening. Any witnesses are encouraged to contact the MSP Grand Rapids post.
On social media, MSP asked anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact the MSP Grand Rapids Post at 616-866-4411.
