City of GR to Host Workshops to Review New Community Master Plan

Throughout a series of workshops that will be taking place on May 7th, 8th and 9th, the City of Grand Rapids is inviting the public to review the draft Community Master Plan (CMP).

The workshops will represent the final round of the ongoing Bridge to Our Future initiative to develop the CMP that will define the vision of how the city will grow and develop over the next 20 years.

The workshops will allow participants to review the draft recommendations at their own pace, followed by small group conversations centered on the chapter areas.

Grand Rapids Mayor Rosalyn Bliss said in a news release that she's "eager to hear feedback from community members, stakeholders, and ultimately, the Planning Commission.”.

Self-paced reviews of the draft recommendations begin at 5 PM to 6 PM. Small group discussions will follow from 6PM to 7 PM. Dinner will also be provided.

Attendees can RSVP as well as obtain event information by going to BridgeToOurFuture.com.
