Incidents of credit card fraud in Montcalm County are being investigated by police.
According to the Montcalm County Sheriff's Office, the perpetrators in question have stopped by multiple convenience stores over the last two weeks, buying thousands of dollars' worth of scratch-off lottery tickets with the use of stolen credit cards and numbers.
Deputies believe there are two groups participating in the fraud in Montcalm County, and that the groups have been targeting smaller convenience stores, usually around closing time.
Anyone with information or any store that has experienced this fraud is asked to contact the sheriff's office.
