Saugatuck city leaders voted to continue the city's social districts year-round on Monday.
The 5-1 vote means individuals will be able to walk around with alcoholic beverages purchased within the Downtown Saugatuck Commons Area all year.
Stores in the area with a "City of Saugatuck Social District" sticker in their window will allow guests to bring in drinks from outside.
However, the city asks that guests respect stores who do not want drinks in side their business.
The area will be open from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m.
