WALKER (WOOD-AM) - Lasers are guiding the way for plow drivers in Walker.
"We have three lasers on three trucks," Gary Postema, the director of public works for Walker, told WOOD-TV. "It's set at an angle that the operator can look out and see where the end of that wing plow is, a certain distance, 30 feet, 40 feet from the truck."
Postema says the technology can keep plow drivers from hitting parked cars, curbs or other objects.
