VERGENNES TOWNSHIP, Mich. - One person was seriously injured in a three-car crash that happened around 10 a.m. Sunday morning on Lincoln Lake Avenue just north of Lowell.
Authorities say a Hyundai Sonata, driven by a 66-year-old Grand Rapids woman, was hit by an oncoming GMC Yukon while trying to pass a Ford Fusion while heading northbound in Vergennes Township.
The driver of the Sonata was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, while the other drivers and passenger were released after being treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
