BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 58-year-old man is being held in Calhoun County Jail after allegedly murdering his 62-year-old significant other early Tuesday morning.
Authorities say a man called around 12:30 a.m., saying his significant other had been shot at their home in Bedeford Township on North Gardner Avenue.
The man is charged with open murder and weapons charges. He won’t be arraigned until Wednesday at the earliest, with city of Battle Creek says that there is no threat to the public and the case remains active.
