Western Michigan University is extending the contract of football coach Tim Lester.
The WMU athletic department announced the two-year extension on Tuesday.
The team is coming off an eight win season.
Athletic director Dan Bartholomae says for every eight-win season moving forward, Lester will have his contract extended an additional year.
