The Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is launching winter activities after a long stretch of warm temperatures.
Sledding and winter clothing rentals will be available starting January 8 at Mulick Park and Plaster Creek Park from 1 to 4 p.m. every Saturday, weather permitting.
The rental program is available through Grand Rapids Thrive Outside Initiative.
Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation will also announce pop-up sledding events on their Facebook page.
