The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety says a 15-year-old girl was shot on Tuesday.
The incident happened around E Bush Street near E Patterson Street around 3:50 p.m.
Officers say the girl was shot in the leg.
She is expected to survive.
The shooting is currently under investigation.
