KALAMAZOO (WOOD-AM) - Former federal agent Richard Trask is due in court today after being accused of beating and choking his wife at their home in Kalamazoo County last year.
Trask was one of the lead agents in the case against several people accused of plotting to kidnap the governor and overthrow the state government.
Obscene anti-Trump comments have been found on his Facebook page. It's believed that defense attorneys will use that content to build an entrapment case.
He was arrested last July after the alleged attack. Trask is expected to enter a plea today.
