GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - On Wednesday, the Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority approved moving around $40k in funding for ice skating at Rosa Parks Circle to the Van Andel Arena, with the DDA also supporting to move forward with a rental agreement for the arena.
The Grand Rapids-Kent County Convention/Arena Authority is waiving the arena rental fee when the space is not being used by other events.
