GRPD: Pedestrian, 41, Struck by Vehicle

GRAND RAPIDS (WOOD-AM) - Police say a pedestrian was hurt when he was hit by a vehicle near Michigan Street and Fuller Avenue last night.

Investigators say the 68-year-old driver hit the 41-year-old pedestrian after his brakes and steering gave out.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The motorist stayed on the scene and cooperated with police.
