GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Police Department have identified 30-year-old Demarcus Javon Brown as the man who was shot and killed near the intersection of Highland Street and Cass Avenue.
Authorities are ruling his death a homicide, after succumbing to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
It’s unknown what led to the shooting and police have not released any suspect information. As of Tuesday, the case remains under investigation.
