Mercy Health Muskegon pleads with more people to get vaccine

Mercy Health Muskegon is asking more people to get vaccinated against COVID-19 as they face an uptick in patients.

The hospital says they average 220 patients per weekday and they admit around 8 percent of people who come to the ER.

The hospital is now seeing around 250 patients per day and admitting around 12 percent of people who go to the ER.

Mercy Health Muskegon says their peak this month was higher than the first surge of the pandemic in 2020.
