MACKINAC ISLAND (WOOD-AM) - At the Mackinac Policy Conference yesterday, Governor Whitmer said that she wants to spend $2.1 billion from the American Rescue Plan to grow the middle class, support small businesses and invest in communities.
It would be part of her "MI New Economy" plan.
The program would need approval from the state legislature.
