EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. - On Friday, a woman was killed and a baby seriously injured in a crash near Battle Creek around 2:30 a.m., caused by a drunken driver.
The accident occurred when the two cars collided near the intersection of Main Street and E. Columbia.
The woman, whose name is being withheld pending family notification, was a 34-year-old from Battle Creek. The baby was listed as stable condition after suffering from significant injuries.
