KALAMAZOO, Mich. - A suspect almost hit a Western Michigan University police officer during a car chase on Saturday, then hit a Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety cruiser on Saturday.
Authorities say the driver then took off on foot, while the other two people inside the car were detained. Police were able to identify the suspect, but were not able to catch the driver before he got away.
