ZEELAND TOWNSHIP (WOOD-AM) - Sheriff's detectives in Ottawa County say they're still looking for the hit-and-run driver who killed a Kentwood woman on the Interstate 196 business loop near 84th Avenue in Zeeland Township.
Capt. Jake Sparks tells WOOD-TV that investigators have limited physical evidence. Silver automobile paint was found at the scene. Sparks also says the vehicle likely has front-end damage.
Valerie Batema, 36, died at the scene early Sunday.
