Kalamazoo residents can now get help removing lead paint from their homes.
The city of Kalamazoo and KNHS Home Ownership Services are partnering on a program to remove led-based paint from local homes.
The program is funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Residents with homes built before 1978 and who have children under the age of 5 could be eligible for the program.
