Parents in Rockford were surprised to find out three children had been diagnosed with Lyme disease.
The parents want to share their stories to help other parents.
Emily Zoladz noticed her son wasn't himself after a day of playing outside at a neighborhood gathering.
They had a virtual visit with a doctor and they thought their son had a skin infection.
However, they then heard that another boy in the neighborhood tested positive for Lyme disease.
Dr. Rosemary Olivero says Lyme disease is vastly under reported.
