GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. - On Tuesday, 8th Avenue Park in Georgetown Township was closed due to water treatment to control algal blooms.
The township advised that people and animals avoid contact with the lake for 24 hours before the park reopens on Wednesday.
