Kent County clerk says election machine testing is public

Michigan voters will head to the polls again in August for a primary election.

Kent County Clerk Lisa Posthumus Lyons says although this election will be smaller the issues on the ballot are just as important.

Lyons says security and transparency are key after the confusion and suspicions of last year.

She says the public can attend as they test equipment to make sure it is working properly.
