Lawmaker says all troopers should have bodycams as "best practice"

Despite efforts from bipartisan lawmakers, body cameras are sparse for Michigan State Police Officers.

MSP says they don't have the funds.

Senator Jeff Irwin of Ann Arbor says bodycams should be best practice for police as they protect officers, citizens and allow to go back and look at incidents.

MSP currently has 205 bodycams for 3,000 employees.
